Founded by Derek Bush, with over 50 years of experience in the field, and joined by Timothy Shepherd as Managing Director, Bush & Associates is a formidable collective of knowledge, experience and design intelligence. Bush & Associates is unique in that its work is not defined by sectors, rather by approach, operating as an atelier rather than the industry norm which has developed into rigid categories and managed like corporations rather than places for creativity to be the focus.

Derek Bush, an Englishman who made Paris his professional home, Derek Bush has spent more than 50 years shaping an extraordinary range of projects across the world of interior architecture and design. Known for his ability to truly listen, Derek places the client’s vision and needs at the heart of every project. With decades of experience, an exceptional network, and an encyclopedic knowledge of the industry, he combines talent, professionalism, and intuition with remarkable ease. His calm expertise and human approach have made him a trusted figure across generations of clients and collaborators.

Timothy Shepherd, a Londoner raised in Soho, who also calls Paris and Hong Kong home, brings over 30 years of global design leadership. Known for seamlessly blending interior design, architecture, fashion, travel, and the arts into a singular, holistic design philosophy. A great collaborator, who knows you need many to make great, the & is born from this.
Raoul Cenan, originally from Romania, Raoul Cenan has worked alongside Derek Bush for more than a decade, contributing to projects not only in France but internationally. Versatile, resourceful, and highly adaptable, Raoul is the ultimate multidisciplinary talent — equally comfortable managing technical challenges, creative problem-solving, and onsite execution. His broad expertise, precision, and commitment make him an invaluable pillar of the team, bringing both energy and reliability to every project.
Sara Rosellini, Tuscan raised, whose work channels imagination and storytelling into emotionally resonant spaces that captivate and connect. Her work across Europe is always personal, with clients of large well-known companies always feeling she is talking directly to them. Cultured, well-schooled and multilingual, she believes in her team being her biggest asset.
